1176 Transformers in API 500 Format

Over the past few days, we have completed the mechanical design of our 1176 input and output transformers for API 500-series modules.

Our 5002-A output transformer is already available as a compact version of our 5002 design for 1176 Rev A–E builds. We have now adapted the input transformer for horizontal PCB mounting as well. Its two rows of five pins, with 2.54 mm pitch, allow the transformer to lie flat on the board and fit within the 36 mm width of an API 500 slot.

Together, the two designs offer a practical way to bring our 1176 transformer set into a compact 500-series module.
