1166 VT (215 : 600)
The Kraftwerk 1166VT is a painstakingly accurate replica of the early Marinair LO1166 output transformer, as found in classic Neve 1073 modules. This version reflects a rare, vintage configuration with higher secondary resistance, and was selected after analyzing and comparing four original LO1166 units.
Reproducing this version presented a unique challenge, demanding deep technical precision across materials, geometry, and winding techniques. Every detail was reverse-engineered—from insulation capacitance to leakage inductance—to match the tone and electrical behavior of the best original unit.
