2567

The Kraftwerk 2567 is a faithful reproduction of the original Marinair LO2567 output transformer, as used in the legendary Neve 1081 preamp modules.
This version reflects the early, vintage configuration featuring an ungapped EI core and a 1 : 1.65 turns ratio, designed to deliver the classic 1081 output tone — smooth, open, and detailed.

Every aspect of the original Marinair geometry was carefully analyzed — including coil layering, symmetry, and insulation pattern — to reproduce the sonic and electrical behavior of the finest original units.

Model: 2567

Build Characteristics

  • Ungapped EI core for extended low-frequency response and natural transient behavior

  • Early Marinair LO2567 geometry and winding configuration

  • Custom coil forms and precisely matched turns count for perfect symmetry

  • Full humbucking layout for low noise and maximum crosstalk rejection

  • Identical wire gauge, turns ratio, and layer structure to the original Marinair design

  • No gap between primary and secondary sections for optimum coupling and clarity
