1454 RL EMI TECH STYLE (2400 : 600)
The Kraftwerk 1454RL is a line input transformer inspired by the EMI-Neve tradition of transformer revoicing. Based on the classic T1454 microphone transformer, this model has been reversed, revoiced, and refined for modern line-level applications.
Unlike the original EMI method—which prioritized tone over hum rejection—this version incorporates fully symmetrical hum-bucking windings. The result is a transformer that preserves the harmonic richness and mid-forward character of the original, while delivering the low-noise performance expected in today’s studio environments.
